Any sense of existing in reality is lost within the first minute. Things become hazy, colorful and beautiful, an altered-state-of-being that should be embraced. It is everything that shoegaze was and is supposed to be about. As My Bloody Valentine's legacy built up into God-like status, Slowdive's influence and greatness has been under-appreciated.
