We Only Said – “Eighty-Sixed”

Until today, I had never heard of the French band We Only Said, but their post-rock sounds immediately struck me as a grand statement. For every hint at Mogwai, I could hear bits and pieces of 90 Day Men—a forgotten Chicago band that never got the attention they deserved. “Eighty-Sixed” is just a taste of a band with a very clear vision and one worth seeking.
